"I was a long‑time State Farm policyholder and had a very serious experience with this agency’s handling of my accounts. In 2025, agent Nate Pica‑Anderson removed my name and billing access from a 15+ year State Farm payment plan at my ex‑husband’s request, without verifying with me, without notice, and without my consent, then continued to communicate and make policy and bundle changes through my ex even after I revoked all third‑party authorization in writing.

When I discovered this and demanded an explanation, Nate repeatedly defended his actions and continued emailing me about conversations and changes he and my ex were making to my policies, despite multiple written directives instructing him to cease contact and stop making changes without my consent. I have filed formal complaints with the Minnesota Department of Commerce, the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, the Better Business Bureau, and NAIC, and Commerce has confirmed that my complaint is under review in accordance with its regulatory responsibilities. In my experience, this agency failed to exercise appropriate verification, account control, or oversight over who could direct changes to my policies and billing. Policy buyers: be very aware."
